100% CPU Usage

In my case, when I attempted an upgrade (8.5 Standard to 8.5.1 Standard) I received an error: "file not found: c:\Lotus\Notes\framework\.provisioning_rc Providioning process failed to launch or was stopped before status could be determined."

I'm on WinXP Pro Version 2002 SP3.

I uninstalled everything (kept my data directory) and did a new install. Success.

When I launched Notes I thought it was hung, but after 20 minutes of my machine running at 100% CPU and the notes2.exe program utilizing that 100%, Notes popped up and seems to be working.

This morning, after a clean start, similar issues. It took 20 minutes to start Notes and the notes2.exe program had 100% of the CPU. I can drink a lot of coffee in 20 minutes.
